Tekla Structures

We have been using Tekla Structures for about 5 years on some of our more complex projects.  We are capable of creating custom components for use in special situations. Two thirds of our staff have received Tekla Basic Training with a third of those also having received Tekla Advanced Training.

Bentley MicroStation

Our CAD program of choice is Bentley's MicroStation.  We have been using MicroStation in house since 1992, when we were required to use it as a condition of receiving a large project for the Army Corps of Engineers.  Seeing the advantages that MicroStation had over our previous CAD package, we switched to MicroStation and have added numerous seats over the years.

Bentley Architecture

Bentley Architecture is one of our two newest additions to our software palette.  Again, due to the requirements of the Army Corps of Engineers and their BIM initiative, we needed to upgrade our capabilities to include the tools required to complete the 3D modeling of BIM's.

Bentley Structural Modeler

Our other new addition is Bentley Structural Modeler.  Again, this was needed to complete the Army Corps of Engineers BIM initiative on a major project.  Being based in MicroStation has made this product as well as Bentley Architecture easy to integrate into our repertoire.

In House IT Department

Our IT department is located in house so that issues can be addressed immediately as they come up.  This can range to anything from troubleshooting and fixing our internal computers and network to responding to any concerns that a customer may have with file transfers and delivery of data for their use.  We have implemented many of our customer's proprietary software on our machines to submit their jobs in the format that they are set up to use.  Protected use of this software is taken very seriously by us, to the point of signing non-disclosure agreements when asked to do so.  We have also created many routines and programs that we use internally on a regular basis to help us complete jobs, and are always looking for ways to further the completeness and accuracy of projects.

Old School?

Of course, if all of this technology is beyond your needs, we still have the capability to complete your project with drawings created by hand.  About half of our staff has been in this business for at least thirty years, and still remember how to draw by hand.
